Tomato, Tomato, flower
A closer image of the tomatoes from "Green Tomatoes" I wanted to take a littlle break from landscape. I needed to practice my macro and focus stacking.
The end is the beginning
The end of life for the flower. the beginning of life for the seed.
Slow night of Auroral activity a couple of weeks ago. This was shot near Old Glenn highway and Knik river.
This young sheep was watching over a pretty large group of female sheep. He took a moment out of his busy day to strike a pose for the swarm of photographers below

Good morning to you
The beautiful transitioning colors from night to moring. The indigo sky of twilight gives way to the vibrant oranges and yellows of sunrise morning.
Sitting on the rocks
The sunburst captured sitting on the rocks during the incoming flow of the tide. You can see where high tide is on the rocks.
The jagged rocks in the foreground are covered with an icy layer of sea water
Waiting for the tide
Not really waiting for the tide. I was trying to avoid the tide as it was swiftly moving in. 10 minutes after shooting this image the icy foreground was completely covered with water.
Dall sheep spotted along the Seward highway at Windy corner, Alaska.
Windy corner wildlife
I took my boys out Aurora hunting with me last night. Unfortunately the lights were mostly a no show. We still had a good time finding constellations and me teaching them a little about photography. A rewarding experience that I should do more often.

swimming hole 3
My first stop on my short northern lights trip last night. I had to stop to capture the moonlit windy road and northern lights
The cold frosted banks of the Knik river resemble a cold barren wasteland.
Took a quick trip out to the swimming hole near the Old Glenn highway bridge. Luckily I was able to capture the northern lights before I headed home
