A low to mid level KP was predicted for last night in South central Alaska. Luckily it ended up being more torwads the mid level forecast. This was taken along the banks of Bird creek as the tide was coming in from the Turnagain Arm.
The beginning of a pretty decent northern lights display along the Knik river.
Looking down on Hatchers pass as the glow of the Northern lights dances over head. The lights to the right of the image are Independence mine historical park. Refer back to my previous post from last week for a close up of that area
