About the Artist
My name is Ben Traylor and I live in Anchorage, Alaska. As you can imagine Alaska is an amazing place to photograph. To be honest I don't think any photo could truly convey the grandeur and beauty of this great state. I picked up my first camera in 2012 and haven't put it down since. I shoot with using Nikon gear and a assortment of Tamron lenses. Panoramic landscape are my specialty. I also shoot other types of photography, like portraits and wildlife. In 2015 my black and white image titled "Splintered" was chosen add one of the finalist for Rarefied Light. It was part of the exhibition that toured the state of Alaska. Just recently my work has been featured on the photo blog Mel365.
Thank you for taking the time to enjoy my work.
