This was an amazing shot to take. I had my two boys with me exploring the nooks and crannies of Lanai Lookout. The water in the center all of a sudden comes rushing at you. Thinking I was going to get drenched I flinched and prepared for the impact. That was the first set that I had to delete due to camera shake. On this shot I stood my ground and hoped for the best.
The family and I went on the movie tour of Kualoa ranch. One of my top five show/movie "LOST" was filmed at this very spot. The scene when Hurley finds golf clubs. Hurley is hitting the ball at the top of the hill by the trees. The movie "Jurassic Park" also had it's opening scene filmed here.

Most people think of the long difficult climb of the Koko crater trailhead. Most of those people don't realize that in the crater is a huge and beautiful botanical garden. There are plants from all around the world. This particular section with all the catctus and agave plants is the "Americas" section.
Just thinking back to my last vacation. I wish I was there.

This was taken at Makapu'u beach. One of the many beautiful beaches on Oahu. In the far distance you can see the Makapu'u lighthouse. When I was here last time We spotted whales from the lighthouse
