watering the daisies
Not sure what the specific name is for this Iris. My wife bought it a few years ago. It has a very pretty flower. Unfortunately the flower on last 24 hours. By the end of the second day the flower has completely withered away.

Day Lily from my yard. These are pretty amazing flowers. This flower bloomed this morning. By this time tomorrow this flower will be wilted. The day after that it will be ready to be dead headed.
At one point I used to know the name of this plant. Looking down at the plant it feels as if you are looking into one of those spirals the use for hypnotizing

A fully bloomed dahlia behind a about to bloom dahlia. At the time when I took this picture I didn't notice the little aphids hanging out on dahlia bud.

The beautiful flowing lines on this tree stump stopped me in my tracks. I wanted to get closer to take a really good look but it was surrounded by Devil's club. Devil's club is a terrible thorny plant. Even the leaves have thorns. On top of that it has a substance coating it that can cause the same reaction as poison ivy.
