Glass beach located in Port Allen on the Island of Kauai. It gets it's name from all of the sea glass that washes up on shore. The area surround the beach was once used as a dump over a hundred years ago. From windows to bottles were dumped here. The crashing waves and rocky sea floor have worked their magic on the glass pieces. Now the beach and surrounding area are littered with pieces of glass ranging in size from a grain of sand to pieces as big as my palm.
