Got up very early to catch the sunrise in Seward, Alaska. The forecast called for rain tomorrow. In the past beautiful sunrises usually happen the day before. So I took a chance and got up at 4am to take the 2hour drive to Seward. Very big risk, but this time it worked in my favor.

I had been trying to catch the snow blowing off the mountains since sunrise. I couldn't find the right angle to catch the light going across the mountains and the snow blowing off of the top of the mountains. Just before lunch time Ifound the right place and light. Surprisngly this was taken in the parking lot of Cabelas. Sometimes the unexpected is the right place.
