Not thinking about politicians
Lately here in the United states we are being constantly bombarded by politicians just said this and politicians just did that. When I'm out shooting these amazing photos I could care less what Donald Trump has said or what crazy thing some Democrat has done. During the whole time I was shooting I was not thinking about anything politics. Maybe more people should turn off the nightly news and go outside to experience the peace of nature. wishful thinking. I know.
Been working on some of my oldies since I haven't been able to get out much. I took this one before I bought my D810. I've always liked this one because of the sunrays coming out of the top of the clouds. All I added to the picture was a little color and adjusted the highlights and shadows. The sunrays were not added in. This is how it really looked that day.
This was taken at the end of my trip to Byron Glacier. I heard a very dull poppong noise while taking this series of shots. Couldn't get the images of me in this cave if the roof collapsed. This is a 7 photo handheld panorama of the smaller ice cave. The blue light on the left is from the bigger cave shinning through the crevices.
Back from my Hawaiian vacation. I don't remeber Alaska being this cold and dark. To get acclimated back to Alaska weather I decided to go out to Byron Glacier and take some picutres in the ice cave. This photo was taken in one of the smaller caves. I almost had to get on my hands and knees at the entrance. Once I got inside I discovered this crystal clear football sized chunk of ice.
