Tzatziki is the big albino tiger. Sriracha is the orange one. Both tigers are at the Panaewa rainforest zoo in Hilo

Two friendly horses came over to the gate to watch what the strange human was doing. I actually drove past this spot. I had to turn around and comeback to this spot becasue the lighting was too perfect to pass up. This was taken on my way back from Poipu, HI. Near Old Koloa Town.
My wife and boys went on a horse ride out in Palmer. I stayed behind to watch our daughter becasue she was too young to ride a horse. Of course I had to take pictures of the horses.
A very busy beaver. It patrolled the whole lake, constantly slapping it's tail when I got too close. Always watching me.

This crusty old marmot was chasing another marmot, under a pile of rocks . He chased the smaller marmot within 10 feet of where I was standing. After the battle old crusty came out and stared at me for a good 5 minutes. It was staring at me for so long that I was getting worried that he was going to attack me. Luckily he ducked behind a rock and left me alone,

After a day of hiking around Hatchers Pass we stumbled across a little Pika foraging for food. I had already packed my camera equipment away. In the desperate scramble to to get my camera out I didn't have a chance to properly adjust my settings.

According to the guides at Alaska Horse Adventures the dark horse stands 19 hands tall! To put that in perspective, I am 6'3". The dark horse was a good three feet taller than me!. The white horse behind him was shorter, but not by much.
